The FBI is handcuffed by DHS.
All national security is now under the DHS umbrella or should I say, under the president's control since it's a cabinet position.
I've always thought DHS was a bad idea. Interdepartmental coordination is good but top down control by one person is not. I've always had a problem with DHS because of the lack of oversight of the president.

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- Two DeKalb County police officers have been placed on paid administrative leave after an investigation revealed they ran a background check on President Barack Obama.
A representative for the DeKalb County CEO’s office identified the officers as Ryan White and C.M. Route.
Officials said Obama’s name was typed into a computer inside a DeKalb County police car on July 20 and ran through the National Crime Information Center.
The secret service was immediately notified and contacted the DeKalb County Police Department.
A representative said both officers have been with the department less than five years.
A representative said one of the officers denied involvement.
An official investigation is being conducted by the DeKalb County Police Department’s Internal Affairs division.
It is unclear why the officers ran a check on the president.

I was so excited. I was thinking it was perfect because the swines are leaving town for their august break. Now it turns out that Obama had the FBI checking into 2 officers who tried to do a background check on him.
I wish someone would finally talk. There has to be people he went to school or college with that would know the truth. Somebody has to come forward sooner or later. :(
On a properly conducted FBI background check, Obama wouldn't be allowed on a US military base as a member of a lanscaping crew or a construction laborer.
Trust me people, the FBI already checked Obama's background and thoroughly. If he paid anybody off, we will not find the truth for years to come. Most likely when he is NOT the president. I know you guys have hope but im calling a spade a spade. You go through an extensive screening when applying for a bank job or the FBI!! This is way over our heads.Quote:
